Is it beneficial for me to split my auto loan payments into bi-monthly payments?
I have a $30,000 car loan at 4.99% for 5 years. I am thinking about splitting my monthly payment amount into two payments. For example, if my minimum payment is $500 due on the 24th of the month, I will pay $250 on the 11th and another $250 on the 22nd. Will doing this help me save on interest that I am paying to the bank because of the lower principle balance I am accruing interest on in a given month?I know doing a bi weekly payment plan is the best since you make an extra 1 2 payments a year, but is the payment plan I am thinking of doing bi monthly still beneficial?Thank you in advance
How do I reduce my monthly auto loan payment?
I bought my car about a year and a half ago. My monthly payments are $252. The thing w my car is they over priced it by about $4500 we didn't know till after . I was literally, LITERALLY cornered, against the wall, with the sales guy on his knees holding my hand begging me to buy the car. After about 5 hours of trying to get away, my dad and I said " yes" to the car. Now, I love my car, and I've been able to pay it early on time every month, no problem. But with that payment and my other bills, I'm left with little to no money. I researched how much they should have priced the car, and it SHOULD HAVE been about $9000. I got it for $13500 AFTER the bank MADE THEM take off about $3000... Honestly, we thought we were getting another car. After we signed th contract and they brought the car out, we thought " this isn't it." Whatever, what's done is done. MY POINT is WHAT can I do to either fix this, or make my monthly payments lower? I would like the grand total to go down by at LEAST $4000, because they completely ripped us off, and I would like to sue, but A we don't have the money to sue, and B I actually DO like my car, I've had NO problems with it So if anybody has been in this situation or knows what to do, your advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you
Late on an auto loan payment.?
I'm currently five days late on my auto payment, and will pay the bill this Friday...which will make it 6 or 7 days late. 1 Will this affect my credit score?2 Is this really a big deal? I've been on time or early on all my payments so far. This is the first one that's been late. This is through my bank. I've researched that as long as I'm not 30 or more days late, I should be fine...that true?

Auto loan payments for an 18 year old male on a new car?
How much per month would my payment be if the new car was 18000?If I took out a loan for 11000 for a newer used car, how much would the monthly payment be? I am looking for a new car and I work part time making a little less then $600 a month but I have absolutely no bills or expenses except the price of gas. The loan would most likely be from my bank and the down payment would be around $2300 maybe $4000 if my parents decide to help me.I have a cosigner
Auto Loan Payment; Postmarked by the Due Date? PLEASE READ!?
My auto loan is due tommorow. I have the money, but I completely forgot to send it out and mail is really slow around here. I don't want to spend $30 to send it overnight. What I was wondering is if the check is postmarked on the due date tommorow will it be considered late? I called the bank and they're closed, and I have school tomorrow until 7pm. The bank is First State Bank if anyone is familiar with them. Should I send out a check? Or wait until tommorow to call? Do banks accept debit card payments for auto loans? I have no idea... Anyone with prior experience who wants 10pts please answer. Thanks in advance
