Will an auto loan refinance show as a payoff on credit report?
Hi A year ago when I purchased a new vehicle I put my fiance on the loan as a co borrower to help out her credit. I am now in the process of refinancing, but she currently has no income, so she would make the rate higher now, so I am leaving her off of the new loan. The question is...... will the payoff to the current bank show on her credit report as a payoff and look as though the car was simply paid for and not refinanced? Not sure how that would look on the credit report or affect her score... any info is appreciated
Auto Loan refinance to extend loan.?
In October 2006 I started paying on my truck loan, $41,142.72 6.79% for 48 months $744.72 per month payment . 9 Months later I have $25,997.37 and 39 months left on my loan. I would really like to extend my loan 12 more months to make my payment smaller so I could put that extra cash towards a house payment. Would a loan officer even take me serious if I wanted something like $26,000 loan 5.75% for 51 months so my payments are around $575 or so?? My credit score is around 774 779 and I live in Minnesota if that helps. Also, are there any fees or extra cost with refinancing an auto loan or anything like that I should watch out for?? Thanks I don't own a home yet. I will be starting a mortgage on one in the next 3 4 months.
Auto loan refinance question?
I currently have a car loan and am paying 16.3% interest on it. I was only 18 when I bought the car. My car payment is about $240 per month. I'm now 21 and still have about $6,000 left on the loan. I found a company that will refinance it at a 9% interest rate and my payments would come down to about $175 per month. It would be another 4 year loan, but this would give me the opportunity to pay off the loan sooner as I would be able to pay extra towards the principle. I am so not good at figuring these things out. Does this sound like a good idea?
Question regarding Auto loan refinancing?
I just bought a 2008 Saturn Outlook in October. I got dealer financing through GMAC at a rate of 8.5% for 5 years. I just pulled my credit report today and saw that I have a fico of 801. that got me thinking that I should try for a better finance rate since I should qualify.I am assuming that since I have left the dealership my car now has 1800 miles on it this would be considered an auto refinance instead of a " new car loan" or even " used car loan" . Anyone have any tips on where to shop for rates? I don't plan on applying to more than one, since I don't want the inquiries on my credit report.Any tips would be appreciated. I owe $26,600.thanks

Best bank to apply for Auto loan refinancing?
I purchased a new car that was totaled on me after only 2 weeks. My insurance completly paid my loan off. Before it showed up on my credit as being paid off it took my credit score way down. I went ahead and purchased a new car not knowing that was why my financing rate was so high. After a few months it showed up as being paid in full and my score is back to normal. What is the best places banks to try for better rate refinancing as I deserve a better rate then what I am stuck with now. I called 2 banks that sent me a refinancing offer in the mail but was turned down on both??? What should I do....plz help
Auto Loan Refinance question?
With unfavorable credit I received an auto loan at a very high interest rate. I have made made payments on time for the last ten months, and have had some improvement with my credit score. I've been approved to refinance my auto loan 4% lower than my original note. How would this transaction impact my credit? Is it better to let the account age?
Auto Loan refinance question?
I am 14 months 13 payments into a 7 year auto loan at 9%. I have been offered the opportunity to refi at 6% with a different financial institution.. What pros and cons are there to consider. I can afford the current payments but am interested in paying less interest of course. I intend to keep the vehicle for a long time.Do I refi for another 7 years or for just 6 years so it isn't taking me longer to pay the vehicle off?
