Is this legal can they do this on a personal loan /auto loan from citi finance Serious answers only please?
I have been making monthly payments but payments are sometimes late but they do get paid. When I opened the account in August 2007 I borrowed $10,000.00 payments are 337.96 monthly and about six months ago I started watching my statements and receipts and the balance 11,343.66 was not changing not even 0.01 of a change it has remained the same. Well I called them today to find out why there has been no change to the balance at all and they told me that every time my payment is late that they just take the payment amount of $337.96 for it being late and that none is applied to the principle or interest. I do not believe that this is fair legal practice myself can someone tell me if this is legal or if not legal what can i do and serious replies only please
Bank Of America auto loan process - confused :~?
I am sellin my car to private party and she is getting auto loan from BOA. But BOA needs the original title in my name to be couriered to them. I am wondering is it safe to send my title couriered to them. Is there any suspicious thing that can happen in this process, like some one can change my title and claim the car?
Can a co-signer by the primary payer on an auto loan?
The thing is i'm taking out an auto loan thru Wells Fargo and my aunt is gonna sign on it with me.Since her credit is higher, would it be a smart idea to have her be the primary signer and me the co signer? If so, could I still be the one making the payments? Please help. Thanks Thank you. It's because my credit is just fair, and hers is good. I'm thinking that if she's the main signer, i'll have a higher chance of getting approved do you know what i mean?

I am a cosigner on an auto loan. I have to file bankruptcy.?
The primary loan holder does not have to file bankruptcy and the loan is current. I do not make the payments. Do I have to include this in my bankruptcy? If so, how will this affect his credit? Since I am only a co signer and do not want this debt discharged can I leave it off of the bankruptcy. I do not want this to affect his credit.

Hi all, i think we got swindled at the used car dealer today. We bought a used car and financed about $8K at 8.99% APR for 48 months. This seems like too much... my spouse and i have near perfect credit, so why such a lousy rate? Can we try to refinance even though we just bought the car this weekend? Will that lower our credit rating?Thanks i did think it was too high and asked about it. Then asked for a better rate, but the finance person said it was because of the age mileage on the car. That's not correct, is it? Our first time financing... We actually didn't have to refinance because we acted quickly enough that the dealership hadn't even sent the paperwork to the bank. We went through a credit union and got a rate of 5%. i am planning on getting a car for 5,000 bucks but the bank is only giving auto loans for 7,500 and up so what happens with the rest of the 2500 bucks do i keep it?

Should I use my IRA to pay off my credit card and auto loan?
I am 26 yrs old and have 6500 in credit card debt and $5000 remaining on an auto loan. I was thinking of using most of my IRA to pay off these loans. Being that I'm still in my mid twenties and having 30 years to save up for retirement, it seems like a good idea. Plus I'll be able to aggressively save after I pay off these loans, both retirement and cash reserves. Good or bad idea?
